University of Medicine 1, Yangon conducts MBBS course and postgraduate medical courses including diploma/certificate courses, master of medical science (MMedSc) courses and doctorate courses [doctor of philosophy(PhD) / doctor of medical science (DrMedSc)].
Admission criteria are set as per consensus of all medical institutions under Ministry of Health and Sports via directive of Department of Human Resources for Health.
